The Super Telephoto Military Telescope was invented at Johns Hopkins University. The purpose of this study is to achieve maximum magnification at the smallest effective aperture while retaining the light flux and resolution angle of the telescope.
The light flux is 30 times that of typical telescopes with the same diameter. Standard telescopes of the same diameter have a resolution angle that is 47 times larger. A magnification of 300 times was obtained. On a small scale, this is the first monocular with this magnification and clarity.

The telescopic anti-shake mechanism and custom tripod 3D gyroscope maintain the telescope's field of view exceptionally stable even when magnified hundreds of times.
